I’m so excited to have become a UK stockist of Klippan blankets. I absolutely love these thick and cosy blankets and they will look amazing in your home.

Not only that – but I now have excuse to go on a factory visit to Sweden. What could be better?

The decision to stock these lovely Swedish wool blankets was an easy one. After meeting Klippan at a trade show, I was immediately struck by how gorgeous and cosy their wool blankets are, as well as just how beautiful their designs are.

I placed my order immediately and I couldn’t stop thinking about them.

Klippan wool for blankets

I am always drawn to wool and especially blankets. Apart from the fact the designs and colours are quite different from what I currently stock, these throws are slightly thicker than the merino and Shetland wool throws and I really felt as though I was missing a more “blankety” throw. I know “blankety” is not a word, but these blankets really do give you a warm hug.

They are still soft and perfect for snuggling under. They are a perfect choice if you who want a thicker blanket to make that wow factor in your home.

Add to that Klippan’s eco credentials. Klippan can trace the wool back to the original farm. How amazing is that? Klippan have been manufacturing wool blankets and textiles since 1879.

Klippan’s blankets and throws are all manufactured in their oeko-tex® certified factory. The factory is family run and this gives them complete control over their products and the way that they are manufactured. This ensures that each item retains its quality and feel.

I just love the story behind the brand and especially to be stocking throws and blankets that have design, craftsmanship and tradition at its core.

Klippan also offers throws made from eco wool. This comes from farmers running sheep breeding programs using ecological principles. Many of our Klippan throws are made from eco wool.
