    Klippan blankets and wool throws allow you to experience true hygge. Klippan combines Swedish Scandi design with high-quality wools including eco lambswool, Gotland lambswool and recycled wool.  Klippan Yllefabrik sources their wool from farms in Sweden. The wool is really warm and cosy and has no chemical treatment. Country Mouse is proud to be a Klippan stockist. Klippan have been making wool blankets since the 19th century and are still family-owned.

Our Swedish wool blankets are thick and warm which makes them perfect for cosy nights.  Our Klippan wool blankets are also perfect as a gift.

    Klippan is a family-run business based in Sweden and has been making cosy wool blankets since 1879. Their main focus is on being environmentally friendly and sustainable. They weave their beautiful wool blankets and throws in their factory which can be traced way back to the individual farm where the sheep were raised.

    Care for nature and animals that produce the wool for our throws

    All of our Klippan wool throws and blankets are certified by Woolmark®, which ensures that our throws are made from pure wool.

    The wool used to weave our wool throws can be traced to the individual farmer, regardless of whether it's Swedish wool or New Zealand merino wool.

     Klippan is a member of the organization, Swedish Wool, which promotes locally-produced wool that contributes to biological diversity.

    Klippan has a wool Integrity NZ™ brand partner licence which guarantees the use of ethically produced,mulesing-free wool.

    Our wool throws also carry the woolmark. 

    Wool Care

     Wool has excellent anti-dirt properties which means that you don't need to wash your wool blanket that often. Wool repels dirt and dust with its naturally occurring lanolin. 

    Instead of washing your wool blanket, hang it out to air on a dry breezy day. If you need to wash your wool blanket, machine wash it on a cold wool setting. Do not tumble dry.
