    Klippan lovingly makes our Gotland wool throws. Our Gotland wool blankets are made from the wool of the Gotland sheep, an ancient Swedish breed known for its thick, glossy wool. The length of the fibres is also long, which adds to its lustre.

    Gotland wool is a rare and unique Swedish breed, dating back to the Viking era. Our Gotland throws are beautifully crafted and ethically sourced from a Swedish family-run business with a history dating back to 1879. 

    Our Gotland wool blankets are available in various colours and patterns. We have handpicked each one to form our collection. Choose from plaids, stripes and solid colours. They are thick and cosy and will help to keep you warm on those chilly days and nights.

    A strong environmental ethic is implemented in the manufacture of these soft wool blankets, the makers can trace the provenance of all the wool used, back to the individual farmer meaning they can ensure the finest quality, whilst caring for the sheep and the planet. All the farms they work with meet the strictest of rules around animal welfare, and none of them practice mulesing. The wool is only ever gently washed with NPEO-free detergents, and no bleach is ever added.

    25% Gotland Wool,  75% brushed Lambswool.

    Care: Wool has excellent anti-dirt properties, so you don't need to wash your wool blanket that often. Wool repels dirt and dust with its naturally occurring lanolin. 

    Instead of washing your wool blanket, hang it to air on a dry breezy day. If you need to wash your wool blanket, machine wash it on a cold wool setting. Do not tumble dry.
